Parents our summer program is starting June 7th, 2010 and will end August 6th, 2010 From 9:30am to 5:30 PM Daily
A FREE lunch will be served from 12 noon 'til 1:30pm EACH DAY

Congratulations! The Boys & Girls of America, and the Arts team, are pleased to announce a distinguished panel of judges has selected Micah Rogers a member of our organization (Boys and Girls Club of Austin County) to be a part of Boys and Girls Clubs of America's 2010 National Fine Arts Exhibit.
Michah Rogers (City High) in the Watercolor category was selected along with 36 other pieces of works of the National Fine Arts Exhibit from thousands submitted by aspiring young artists in Clubs and Youth Centers across the nation.
You will be happy to know that the National Fine Arts Exhibit will be displayed at various Boys & Girls Clubs of America conferences. The artwork, along with our other winners will be viewed by hundreds of conference delegates throughout the year.
Micah will recieve a plaque and the image will be placed on bgca.org in the virtual gallery for viewing in the future.
Dave C. Swalm Boys and Girls Club Scholarship for
2010-2011
In collaboration with Blinn College and The Boys and Girls Club of Austin County, 4 Individuals were awarded The Dave C.Swalm Scholarships to attend Blinn College. The scholarship will cover tution and fees for the two years in attendance of the following recepients:

Tyler Herbst Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship issued every year through the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County in memory of Tyler Herbst sponsored by Steve and Kathy Herbst, whom loved attending the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County. This scholarship was awarded to the following reciepients:

An incentive party was held on June 1st, 2010, to show appreciation to all members who participated thorughout the school year in these programs.
